Nigerian Army 88 Regular Recruitment Exercise Announced | How to Apply

This is to inform all interested candidates that the Nigerian Army has announced the opening of its portal for recruitment into the army for interested Nigerians.

Applicants are expected to be between the ages of 18 to 22 and to apply through its portal, https://www.recruitment.army.mil.ng.

Nigerian Army Recruitment - How to Apply:

1.     Interested candidates are to: Make sure you are currently on the official recruitment portal https://www.recruitment.army.mil.ng.
2.     Create a user account to enable you login. Your username must be a functional email.
3.     Complete the application form, submit online and print a copy. Then, print and complete the Guarantor Form as appropriate.

Basic Information:

1.     Applicants must be a Nigerian citizen by birth and possess a National Identity Card/NIN slip/ BVN.
2.     Applicants must be medically, physically and psychologically fit in accordance with Nigerian Army Standards.
3.     Applicants must be free of any criminal conviction by court of law.
4.     All Applicants must possess at least a minimum of 4 passes including English Language in not more than two sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.
5.     In addition to above qualifications, those applying as tradesmen/women must also possess TRADES TEST/CITY AND GUILD CERTIFICATE. Details are available on the website.
6.     Applicants must possess a valid birth certificate endorsed by the National Population, Hospital, Local Government Council or age declaration.

An applicant must not be less than 18 years or older than 22 years from non-tradesmen and women, while tradesmen and women must not be more than 26 years as at 31st December, 2024.

Applicants must not be less than 1.68 metres and 1.65 metres tall for male and female candidates respectively.

Applicants must possess a valid certificate of state of origin.
