2020 JAMB: Top Ten Most Applied Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics and Others)

Following the announcement of the 2020 admission cut-off marks of all tertiary institutions, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has disclosed the top ten universities, polytechnics, Colleges of Education and IEIs that were picked most by candidates as their first choice institution during the 2020 JAMB registration.

This was announced at the policy meeting held on 16th June, 2020. See the list of the most applied institutions below.

JAMB 2020 Statistics: Top 10 Most Applied Tertiary Institutions

Here is the list of the most sought-after universities, Colleges of Education, Polytechnics and IEI's in Nigeria during the 2020 UTME registration. These institutions are the top most-chosen institutions during the 2020 JAMB UTME registration, i.e. they have the highest number of candidates seeking admission into them.

Top Ten Most Applied Universities

The University of Ilorin, Kwara State had 103,582 applications, making it the University with the highest first choice applications for 2020, with Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State is second with 82,984 applications.

For colleges of education, the data revealed the Federal College of Education, Zaria to have the highest first choice applications, with 4,370 applications.
