Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) wish to invite candidates who applied for admission as first choice into the University through UTME and DE to register for screening and aptitude test through the University website www.umyu.edu.ng. Please note that only candidates listed on the mentioned website are to register.

The online registration will commence on 11th October 2023 and ends on Friday, 24th November, 2023.

However, the aptitude test is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 25th November, 2023. To qualify for the aptitude test candidates must make UMYU as their first choice institution and satisfy all the admission requirements for their programme of choice. Similarly direct entry applicants are also invited to register.

UMYU POST-UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING ELIGIBILITY

• To be eligible for the aptitude test/screening, a candidate must have:

  1. Scored the minimum cut-off mark or above in the 2023 UTME examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB);
  2. Obtained a minimum of five (5) relevant credits at O’ level (including English and Mathematics);
  3. Sat for the relevant UTME subject combination in the 2023 JAMB examination;
  4. In addition to obtaining the minimum five (5) O’ level relevant credits (including English and Mathematics), Direct Entry (DE) candidates shall obtain the minimum ‘A’ Level points for the programme they applied.

HOW TO APPLY UMYU POST-UTME / DE SCREENING EXERCISE

• Visit https://collegeportal.umyu.edu.ng/ug/applicant/index/
• Click on 'Register a new Account' at the right to fill the registration form.
• NOTE: Registration is to be done once. If you have registered before just login to continue filling your form.
• On successful payment, log on to your profile and edit your application profile (This will require your recent passport photograph and your biodata).
• Print your Screening Acknowledgement Details.
• Please always check to confirm if you are shortlisted.
• Login to pay for acceptance fee. Login to print your Admission Letter and other forms
• Make sure to print all your payment receipts..
