DISCLAIMER ON VIRAL MISLEADING CIRCULAR ON ACADEMIC CALENDAR. 

I write to you on behalf of the Polytechnic as one of you to please with a matter of urgency disabuse your mind on the above subject matter.

At about few hours ago, a plagiarised copy of the Institution Letter head gone viral by some imposter's writing that the Polytechnic is resuming on 26th of October 2020 and quoting Examination Date Visa Viz. Fellow Compatriot's please know that the information is null and void as the polytechnic did not release such as you could view that the copy going viral isn't countersign by any of the Polytechnic authority.

 Whilst anticipating resumption please be informed that only Office of the Registrar of the Polytechnic can communicate resumption date not even the Students Affairs Division.

Furthermore, a forensic investigation has swiftly commence to bring such imposters to book and be dealt with according to the rule of law.

KADPOLY has released a proposed amendment to the first and third semesters of the 2019/2020 academic session. See details below.

Sequel to the suspension of Academic activities as a result of COVID-19 pandemic and the need to conclude the 1st/3rd semester 2019/2020 Academic session in the earnest, the APAC sub-committee on academic calendar met and proposed the attached amended academic calendar based on conclusion with the Kaduna Polytechnic (KADPOLY) post COVID-19 Taskforce for the remaining period of 1st/3rd semester 2019/2020 session

Major highlights:

  • The remaining weeks for 1st/3rd semester for the programmes range from 3 weeks to 10 weeks
  • The 1st/2nd phases will commence on Monday 26th October 2020 and 16th October 2020 while the 3rd phase will be on the 4th January 2021 respectively.
  • The period of the examination remains 2 weeks
  • Presentation of the 1st/3rd semester examination is 15th - 27th March. 2021.
  • HNDII and NDII Evening programmes are scheduled to commence the 2nd/4th semester from 30th November 2020 - 27th March. 2021 (2wks after examination). This is to forestall the constant complaint of staying too long in the system.
  • The 2nd/4th semester of 2019/2020 Academic session for Diploma students will be from 8th February - 5th June. 2021
