This is to inform all candidates who have applied for admission into the Federal University of Technology, Minna for the 2018/2019 academic session that the University's Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (UPASE) will hold at the University Main Campus, Gidan Kwano, Minna as follows: 

(i) Unified Tertiary & Matriculation Examination (UTME) - Monday, 3rd to Thursday, 6th September, 2018

(ii) Direct Entry (DE) - Friday, 7th to Saturday, 8th September, 2018

Note: The screening exercise will be conducted using Computer Based-Test (CBT) platform.

Candidates awaiting “O” level results are not qualified for the screening exercise.

FUTMINNA Cut-off Mark & Eligibility

(i) Only UTME and DE candidates who selected Federal University of Technology, Minna as first choice are eligible for the screening exercise.
(ii) UTME candidates must have a minimum UTME score of 180, except for those courses for which higher cut-off marks have been indicated on the University website.
(iii) All candidates must possess a minimum of five ‘O’level credits including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings in subjects relevant to their proposed courses. In addition, DE candidates must possess a minimum of Lower Credit at National Diploma and/or Higher National Diploma or Merit at NCE.
(iv) UTME

FUTMINNA Post-UTME & DE Registration Procedures

Registration for UTME and DE candidates will commence on Wednesday, 15th August, 2018 and end midnight of Friday, 31st August, 2018.
Candidates are advised to visit the FUT Minna website: www.futminna.edu.ng for details on the procedure for on-line registration, requirements for the screening exercise, procedure for payment and other general information.
*Candidates are to pay a non-refundable fee of Two thousand Naira (N2,000) only (i.e. One thousand Naira (N1,000.00) only for the Computer Based Test (CBT) and One thousand Naira (N1,000.00) only as University Processing Fee through REMITA platform.*
